For me the LCFs started to behave weirdly in general. I am not sure if this is related, but sometimes instead of buying the food customers just take it out from the LCF to eat. At first I thought it was the food they dropped on the floor, but I am sure I just saw a Sim grab food out of the lice cold freezer, not pay and then walk to the nearby bench and eat it. I also noticed the food they drop sometimes drops as a normal item anyone can eat.
Okay I was playing while writing this and I definitely saw a customer pay for the food (with notification and everything), walk to the nearby flat surface, place it down as a normal, not-for-sale dish, and then walk out. I didn't notice it before though.
