I'm on Xbox Series X so can't share saves but I'm currently tracking this in my game. It's only happened with 1 mare that I adopted from the exchange, in my second household with horses. The others, created in CAS have been fine but I do have to call them to their beds. I'm moving on to the third household with horses so I'll keep an eye on it.
This particular horse has the Free Spirit trait. She's sad she's "cooped up" on a 64x64 lot in a field so I wasn't sure if she didn't want to go into the stable because of her nature. She keeps dozing while standing up outside.
@JuniperWhimsy Thanks for being more on top of this than I was - I kind of fell off of this for a few days. Here's to hoping it gets fixed! <3
I have this too. I try locking the horses in the barn at night but they're miserable. Maybe take a nod from LittleMissSam's mod and give us the ability to stay in bed until the morning. For every Sim. I think that would solve a lot of our issues and also reduce lag since the Sims are sleeping all night.
