[OPEN] [HSY] Social Bunny only offering limited stuff to post about

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. I didn't find a thing about it online or anywhere. It's the social bunny, specificaly posts, but it's not a "bug", it's more like a "I don't have the thing I should have" (also at first I didn't even know I should have more options).
What happens when the bug occurs? So of course I want to post on social bunny but for some reason I only get like four options which are: travelling, reviewing a book, new outfit (and this one shows up after my sim changes outfits), for teenagers there is one about homework and I think that's it? I tried everything I could think of. Searched modifications for anything to repair that, also turning them off, making new families, went through options everywhere and nothing. But the weird thing is, I had this mode that would help me fully control other sims if I wanted to and when I did I discovered, the rest of them get other options. I tried changing families, but it didn't work. I have no idea what to do, but I don't want to uninstall the game, cause I love my families.
What do you expect to see? Anything. My sims literally got married, had children, one got famous and I couldn't post about it, so I want to have that option.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I can't make any good posts on social bunny. My sims went to prom, got married, had children, got famous and more and I can't post about it, cause I have like four really basic options.

Also when they got married I checked and the groom had the "got married"(I don't know what it is in english) post option somehow but guess what? I tried to post it a few times. It didn't work. And the bride didn't have it at all XD

I second it so much! The main option that I get to post on Social Bunny is about "being back from work" *skull emoji*
Social Bunny has zero cross-pack compatibility, and even most of the base game events you can't post about. I wish they expanded on what our Sims could post so that it's not just about traveling from lot to lot or being back from work.

This 100% bothers me because it seems like the only things you can post about are related to High School Years EP and if this is the case then Social Bunny has to be updated for the other packs just like the Club system from Get Together gets constantly updated.

The only option I've ever seen is traveling, so yeah, I guess I have this bug too. Didn't even know there was more options til just now.

My sims had a wedding and I wanted them to post about it but the posting button didn't work. I was like "cool"...
I then made my Sims visit festivals, do other stuff both from base game and from packs, and I only had "post about traveling".
Social bunny should be revisited and it should include things from packs because currently the app is nearly pointless...

This is a bug? I thought it was a terrible oversight. It drives me crazy that huge things will happen and my sims can't post about it. Someone dies in their living room? Got married? Got abducted by aliens? None of those things have ever created an option to post to Social Bunny. But they can post about their lunch every day. It makes me insane.

I've had an opportunity to post about engagement, dinner with family (this was one time), marriage, having a baby, orientation, sport practice, sneaking out, going to a college party, loitering, going to the movies, and pillow fighting. There's probably more that I can't remember at the top of my head. It's one of those things where you need to check social bunny after every interaction. I don't think there is any cross-pack compatibility, just base and HSY.
Edit: For example, posting about having a baby/engagement/married appears right after it happens. You have to open social bunny the moment the baby is born, you get engaged, or you get married. I don't know when it disappears, but I think it is only on the day that it happens. You won't be able to post about it the next day despite having the moodlet.

I have options to post about prom and stuff like that but it won't post. It just clicks out of the app without saying anything. That's what people mean by bug. Only four basic things will post. Everything what just clicks out of the app without posting.

@LiliAll21 From what I can tell from my experience with the game and Social Bunny is that there are lots of things to post about, but sadly the way the game limits when you can post about them really decreases my desire to use this feature from High School Years. Which sucks because it could be a really great feature!

In the evening I got a pop up telling me that my teen Sim had lots to post to Social Bunny but there was only one thing: to post about a new outfit and I had already done it the other day. It was her first school day as a teen and everything but this was the only thing I could post.
