i've been playing without mods/cc the whole time i've had HSY and occasionally see this issue. there doesn't seem to be any particular thing making it happen, it's purely random. it's also happened when i sent a sim to the exam prep

Not sure if this is applicable since you said that you had removed your mods. Started having this issue after I used MCCC to slow down the game speed. Along with sims not able to attend class because it was careers day, lunch duration was set to something outrageous, like 18 hours. Seems to be some sort of time sync issue. Once I reset the game speed it seemed to fix the issue.

Was there any fix for this issue? This happens to me with all my teen sims every Friday which I think is supposed to be examsThe whiteboard just says career and my sim can't go to class and then it says they failed their exams! Which is really annoying. I've tried without mods and I still get the bug

I just got this glitch today. I was able to "fix" it by hitting shift and clicking on the board and picking attend class.

Yes! Thank you Thank you ! Hold the shift click AND click the white board at the same time and it will show attend class !

I have the same problem. I did "shif+click white board" but doesnt appears "attend class" option. What can I do?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Follow your teen sim to high school on a Friday. When the bell rings, the icon will come up for sim to get ready for class, then disappears from queue. When you try to click on the whiteboard the only option that comes up is "careers". Then her performance meter doesn't increase & end of day reports she had the most terrible day ever.

The rest of the week she is able to attend with no issues and if I send her to school on Fridays without me, she is able to attend as normal.
What do you expect to see? My sim to be able to attend class and keep her school performance up.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No. I've removed the few mods I had; moved sims folder onto my desktop; repaired game; started entire new "clean" save, and still cannot attend class on exam days.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Unsure. I never tried playing a teen sim and following them to high school until after the Oct. 22 patch came out.
