[OPEN] [HSY] ThrifTea Stock Not Refreshing

I'm having the same problem, I was getting screenshots to make a post lol

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?

All of them and all kits with build/buy items
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?

Go to ThrifTea two days in a row (Ive gone every other day for three sim weeks and its always been the same)
What happens when the bug occurs?

All the same clothing and accessories, any clothes with the "new" are ones I've used before but with the swatch I used in the previous day's outfit (or previous week) Also I haven't had any rings or socks every show up
What do you expect to see? Different clothing at least once or twice a week
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?

Current save file is a completely clean game, re-installed it and regenerated the sims 4 folder
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?

Since I first installed HSY

I wanted to add that I did have the game give me a notification when I started that  basically said Thriftea had rotational items and to get something before it was gone OR something about new items showed up, I can't remember which

I have been trying to find any other mentions of this with no luck... this is currently affecting my game (PS5, all packs, no mods).  The Thriftea stock in my game never seems to update with new items.  Does anyone know a non-mod (console) way to get new clothing and accessories to show up in the Thriftea shop?

I am having this issue in 2024. Stock hasn't refreshed for over a week of me playing the game. Same stuff every single day and is getting incredibly boring and frustrating. I'm so tired of things breaking in this game...seems that once a new pack has come out things from old ones just get forgotten about. I love this feature in the game and High School Years is one of my favourite packs but I simply cannot enjoy it properly anymore. Incredibly disappointing.  

For anyone who plays on PC/Mac and is willing to use mods, LeRoiDeTrout has a mod for this issue (Refresh Thrift Store Inventory) which adds a cheat to manually refresh the inventory as needed.

Also want to mention that now I am not even getting the notification each day that there's new stock at the store. The whole feature just seems to have broken. Dont' really feel comfortable using mods and never have

Update:  I have only done this twice now, so I don't know if this is a coincidence or if it works, but twice in games that were not getting Thriftea notices or new stock I had my sim wait at the Thriftea lot until 7am (once I waited all night and once I went there at 5am) and right at 7am the notice happened and the store got new items as expected.  Might be worth a try?

If you stay at thriftea or any place with one of those racks to create looks at 6-7 a.m. it seems the stock will actually refresh. Maybe it's a bug tied to the object itself where you need to be in the loaded lot with the object in to actually refresh?
