And yes, I did try repairing the game too. The only way to fix it seems to be removing the mermaid trait. I'm guessing this is an issue with a recent patch since I've had child sims with the mermaid trait before and this didn't happen to them whenever they go swimming Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title

@Blueboi22 I don't really see much on your picture. Do they go invisible ?There's a bug where they have two forms in CAS so maybe that's escalating.DId you test multiple children ?

@crinrict Yes. The invisibility is the main problem. Whenever he goes into the pool, his legs disappear, his hair changes, and sometimes the game will even add accessories onto him (like the Hawiian leis). And just to be safe, I also tried this with his sister and I ran into the same problem. After this happens, all of their other outfits are inaccessible to them. Even when I go into CAS.@GiardiniDiMarzo Nope. The father is a 100% normal sim.

@crinrict Yes. All my kids are full mermaids, born as mermaids. Father is mermaid and mother is human. They all became mermaids like their father.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a child swim in an ocean whether she loses her tooth or not. Mine did not lose a tooth yet this keeps happening
What happens when the bug occurs? Child Sim’s lower half disappears, her hairstyle changes & she is wearing a top that’s not part of any clothing style I chose
What do you expect to see? Just a child swimming in her bathing suit w/ a pair of legs

Whenever my child Sim swims in the ocean her lower half disappears, her hairstyle changes to one I did not choose & she’s wearing a top not the bathing suit I chose for her. Someone told me this can happen when a child loses a tooth but my Sim has not lost any teeth yet so I’m confused as to why this is happening

@garnetgrlgamer Is there any chance she’s a mermaid? Kids aren’t supposed to have a mermaid form yet but sometimes born mermaids can glitch.
