Yeah, nothing's really spawning, can't find the sea turtles, and the buoys aren't working. I guess my sim is going to work in office from now on.It's kinda nuts how long this bug's been around.
I've had trouble with this on Xbox Series X, both on the daily work task and on the work from home task. My Sim completed the Survey task from the fishing spot about a dozen times over 2 days and 2 trips. She also completed it from the buoy. But it still remained unchecked no matter how many times she did it.
Eventually I got it to work by clicking on turtles, I thought it was never going to work.
