Ok. I know that this is a legit issue as I've seen it reported multiple times at the official forum. Also I do not believe it to be related to mods. I'm just unsure how to handle it.
I just believe this needs extra troubleshooting and hence I'm unsure if I should go the one thread per user route (in which case I will move this to general issues and link in that performance issue thread (although I'm aware it has nothing to do with performance, it might with certain systems though).
So for now, could you please answer the following questions
- Basic info about your computer (CPU, GPU, RAM, Disc space, OS)
- Which expansion packs do you have installed ?
- Are you using mods/cc ?
- Does it matter what you're doing when you're traveling (aka active jobs, club gatherings, parties, simple visit)
- Does it ever occur when going to the foreign lot or only when coming back to your home lot ?
- Anything else you think important ?
Hello Crinrict,
thank you for caring for my problem!
The time jumping has ocurred 3 or 4 times in recent weeks since the addition of Get Together.
It always happened directly after installing a new patch, so this may be an important clue.
Time jumping always happened when my Sim returned home from a public lot (in my cases night club and café). He jumped to a random time.
Skill points and earned money (in my case from DJ work) were lost, the notifications ("Your Sim earned 12 Simoleons ...") however were still there.
In all cases, other members from my family were at work or school when time jumping happened. They were brought back to my home lot, but their avatars still showed them at work. I could fix that problem by letting them travel to other lots and back. After that the game went back to normal and was not corrupt. Perhaps this is just a glitch caused by the installation of a patch. On the other hand problems with travelling Sims were a main source of disaster at Sims 3. In Sims 4 with all its travelling and loading screens this would be even worse, so EA should investigate the issue.
I have all Sims 4 packs installed and don't use any mods/CC.
My comupter specs: HP Envy, Intel Core i5, Nvidia GTX 760 1,5 MB OEM, 16 MB RAM.
Viele Grüße und ein schönes Wochenende :-)

OK, from your detailed description, I'm thinking one thread is ok for the moment.
I'll add it to the list.

@crinrict Rosemow saw my post over in the Sims forums and pointed me here. I have experienced this issue 2x recently (that I've noticed), and it's always when I am leaving a restaurant to go home. They'll be at the restaurant for about 6 hours, then when they get home, it's almost exactly the same time as when they left for the restaurant before. Their needs are consistent (i.e. if they were exhausted when they left the restaurant, they are still exhausted when they get home even if it's 7 PM not 1 AM). I don't know about skill gain because my sims didn't gain any skills while out to eat.
No mods or CC. I have all DLC and am on the most recent patch. 1 time was at a Maxis restaurant, the other time was one from the gallery. Neither restaurant is owned by my sims. This was in 2 different saves. I repaired my game and reset my folders in between the 2 incidents for another more serious issue. While that issue was solved by the reset, this one was not.
ETA: Computer specs!
OS: Windows 10
Processor: i5-6300HQ Quad Core
Memory: 8 GB
Hard Drive: 1TB 5.4k Hybrid HDD + 8G Cache
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB
(I run my game on Ultra settings with almost no problems - occasional drop in FPS, otherwise it's perfect.)
