@CoolPol42 Your graphics chip is a bit low in specs. What graphics options do you play on ? Low ?
Also check if there's newer drivers. Yours are over a year old.
@crinrict1. This is the newest driver for my my graphics card I tested my laptop with Dell support and Intel support and neither of them found newer driver.
2. I tested it right now on the lowest graphics settings and the delay is the same
3. I usually run my game on higher graphics settings.
If you completely turn off UI-Sounds in the audio section, it's certainly greatly speeds up menu response time.
I have this off on all my machine, including my fast PCs, what I found how, when you just try it once, it's hard go back.

@SimGuruRitzyI see this is still open so I'll share what I noticed. I ran a scenario and it was fine if a bit slow occasionally but that can be explained with my laptop getting on in years. However, same save file go into the family that I had been playing there and suddenly everything is slow. Interface especially, barely playable and suddenly I'm seeing supposedly fixed bugs appear again such as crops in season reverting. The difference between the two, the problem family is the one with a cow, a lama and 2 adults and 4 teens and a whole lot of plants and rabbits on the lot living in Henford-on-Bagley and I ensured that there are few items in sims inventory however fridge and a chest have been used to store produce. I also noticed that it ran slightly smoother when I went off home lot.The one that had almost no problems single sim in scenario.
