Hello, It's Happening on Sim (currently command), Computer and Fridge too (If I have many stuff) but now everything is fixed by this solution of buying new hardware, I Bought a new laptop and these problems are all gone (I'm playing on my old laptop the night before my new Laptop arrived and they are still delayed). My New Laptop have RTX GPU and Ryzen 5 5600. Those are only thing that change, it's still have 16GB RAM DDR4 as before and install the game on SSD. So I think the problem maybe The Sims 4 run many thing behind to the point it depend so much on CPU since the delay increasing on stuff or trait or interaction your sims have. Or they need a faster GPU to run pie menu graphic, IDK exactly tho but only CPU and GPU that change that fix the game for me.
Well, after a year since I play Sims 4 on my new laptop(now one year old) the same problem come back, I run the same test, my confirmation that this is game related not mod is because I tried a new clean save without mod, and there still milli second delay on computer and fridge (in clean save, delay between sim is gone), not much, no freeze or lag, just that the pie menu not pop up immediately like on other objects. then I tried put my mod back, try the same save that used to be clean and boom, same result, so I guess it's something inevitable? when sim start having career, skills, relationship, inventory stuff or maybe it just that adding new update just make the game more messy and cause this problem to come back, idk but I'm sure now don't want to buy any other pack to make my game more messy, I play other EA's game like BF 5, Anthem, NFS heat on Ultra setting fine, why is it only the Sims 4 that so demanding? is it still a bug? then a fix would be appreciate.
After all, milli second delay may not sound like a problem, not big of a deal but I have saw other have it worst, like 5 -15 second or something, still it a sign that if I put more pack in, it's gonna be more of a problem, I love sims 4, wanna try everything it has to offer but please make it work smoothly.
