Multiple nannies load in the house, and I get multiple notifications of nannies showing up. Happens with only a few families. Goth family has it happen to them when they're on the Goth house lot, when I move them to empty lot it loads too many nannies. Same with a house in Komorebi. What do you expect to see? No nannies. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? On a fresh save, here are the steps that caused my "endless nannies":1) Hire a nanny or have a nanny hired recently.2) Travel to a location other than home.3) While away, <hard part / timing>, nanny calls you and asks advice on whether to get a new job. (This is part of the new neighborhood influence changes). 3a) Tell them, "Yes, go for it" or whichever is the affirmative answer.4) Travel home.5) Every 30 seconds, a new nanny shows up at your door and bombards your house. "Hi! I'm...."6) For added fun, set speed on 3x and watch your house be inundated with nannies.To rectify:1) Pause game.2) Queue up the firing of all nannies. Yes, they all charge you.3) Eventually all nannies leave.

Loads of people have this problem. You'd think by now they'd work in an easy way to get rid of them. I physically cannot get rid of them. I had 13 in the house. Even when fired them all more are showing up as they're leaving. Kill cheat just kills my sims instead of them. No way to just easily delete them. Can't cancel service. This is ruining my game. I'm failing to see the point in continuing to play or buying new expansions.

@dobydog2I have somewhat the same issue. I fired one then two nannies showed up and it kept adding more. Still have that issue

At first, there was a "minor" glitch. The nanny would not go home and would not charge me either. She just stayed for days, talking to kids, cooking, and eating (not sleeping) until I grew tired of her presence and made a huge mistake. I added her to the family and then removed her. I was hoping it would reset the sim and she would go home, and she did. What happened after that? Six nannies came. I dismissed them one by one and they charged me 400-1000 simolions each!

I currently have 6 nannies that have turned up in one family. I don't get charged for them and they stay full time but another shows up each day. They don't always act as nannies. They even appear when I have fired them.

I've cancelled my nanny service because I didn't need them anymore, then my sim began talking to the nanny when the nanny wasn't on the lot. So I deleted the nanny using mc command centre and now there are at least 5 nannies walking through my front door.
What has happened and what do I do?

I know this is an old post but I still have det problem of several nannies showing up and they never leave. When i try to fire one another and the fired nanny comes back...
I have tried to repair the game but it dosent work. it is very anoying!!!
They all take care of the same task of one of the children. if they could just look after different children so they dont line up task for one child....

I stopped using the nannies because they kept being buggy for me. I'd get alerts about the kids not getting attended to despite a nanny being on site. If I dismissed a nanny from a lot, then they would automatically reset themselves, re-arrive (with the notification introducing them) and then charge them again when they were dismissed a second time. I had more than one nanny on the same site, I also had nannies just not leaving at all (and sometimes just turning up and walking in the house despite not being summoned).
I've had this for a while, not since the last patch. I don't know if this has got worse with subsequent updates.

@dobydog2 Something similar just happened to me. I had one of my sims and one of my infants to a different lot in a different world. When my two sims got back to the home lot, I suddenly had two nannies.

I just downloaded the October 20, 2024 patch and opened the game. Nannies started showing up every minute or so. I am up to 15 of them now.
