In addition to the waiters constantly going outside to shovel snow, the customers also go outside while waiting for their food. And my own sim (restaurant owner) keeps going outside to play in the snow or shovel the second I don't have something queued up for her to do. Really annoying that I have to keep changing her out of her cold weather outfit.

Hey, I'm not sure if I should make this a completely new topic since some people have mentioned something similar in this thread already, but I'm having the issue where my household sims are obsessively going out to shovel snow the second they finish up their queued actions, and sometimes ignoring needs to go shovel snow. I'm not sure when exactly it started since my seasons are 28 sim-days long and there have been a few patches released in the time it took to get to winter. It happens whether the sims are in a house, in an apartment, or on a public lot, and sometimes on public lots I see NPC sims shoveling as well.

@crinrictNone of them have the Responsibility trait. Two of them had the Neat trait, the other 4 don't (and then I made a change, so only 1 of them has it now).
I have two households that I play with in this save file.
Household 1: Lives in an apartment in San Myshuno. Sim A: Adult with Neat trait. Sim B: Adult without Neat trait. Sim C: Adult without Neat trait. Sim D: Child without Neat trait.
Household 2: Lives in a house in Willow Creek. Sim E: Adult with Neat trait. Sim F: Adult without Neat trait.
To test, I let both households pretty much run on full autonomy all day except telling them to invite guests in and telling the child to do his homework. For Household 1, Sim A queued up the shovel snow action 4 times throughout the day, Sim B queued 2 times, Sim C queued 1 time, and Sim D queued 2 times. There have been days where the sims without the Neat trait queued more than the sim with the Neat trait, though. For Household 2, Sim E queued three times and Sim F didn't queue at all that day. I decided to go into CAS and swap Sim E's Neat trait for the Active trait, and then I restarted the game. After that, Sim E queued twice and Sim F queued once. I would have liked to test it out more but the seasons switched over and now I have no more snow. - LauraKl105 years agoRising Vanguard
