I'll add this. I think it was established as a bug before but I can't find any threads on it.
I have since tried changing the origin name I was using again to see if it was some how related to the name I did with the first origin ID change. So I changed it to the name to Erocalis instead of Bopsytop and everything for the ID changed like it should and now my gallery is saving correctly. Just wanted to give an update on what was going on with it.

I'm adding this anyways as it seems an ongoing issue for several people
- I changed my Origin ID but gallery still showed the old ID as well. And I got rid of cache, changed my Origin ID and no it’s like the ID got stuck and it won’t change... I can’t think of any ways to solve this and it’s so frustrating

Has anyone figured this out? I have the same issue.
I have noticed that (in my case) it only affects creations made before the name change. So everything that was created before my name changed, (years ago), no matter if it is a SIM or a build, it will always have the old ID name when saved into the gallery or export with Sims 4 Tray Importer (S4TI). Everything newer has the new ID name. To solve the problem, you would have to delete all the old stuff and recreate, but that would be a very bad solution vor the player. I doubt that they will ever fix this because it’s going on for so long now and I believe that changing the ID name is the downside of all this. Something we have to live with, I guess *sigh* - In other words, don’t change your ID name or else you have to live with the old ID name on “old” creations.
