This has happened every time my toddler makes a mess, since I've gotten the pack. The responsibility meter goes down, and then I discipline the toddler and it raises again, like normal. Then after the discipline, the toddler gets another -Responsibility and it continuously lowers and won't stop. The only UI mod I think I have is extra columns for CAS, but that doesn't seem to matter because my game still does this when I remove all mods and cc from the game.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199 You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup. Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back. Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually) Tray Folder Screenshots/Videos/Custom music Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave) Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up .... Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work) The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

Hi @Cianyx so you didn't put anything back and started a new game for testing purposes and this still occurs ? Did you make a new family or try the one you had before ? There have been reports of the values resetting but I haven't seen anyone saying it gets stuck on going down. So trying to find out if it's saves or Sims related.

I completely reset the game. I didn't add anything from the game folder I moved out for the reset. Started the game, made a family with a toddler. Toddler made a mess, i had a parent discipline the toddler, and after the discipline was finished and the responsibility raised, another -Responsibility appeared over the toddler and it constantly went down from then until she did another action that results in -Responsibility.

I've tested this and can't duplicate in my own game.

Does it matter what traits the toddlers have ?

How are you disciplining them ?

My toddlers have had all different traits when I make them and it always happens so I don't think that's the problem. I usually do one of the Firm disciplines.

There we go...and in this instance the "rising" arrow actually stayed on, but you can see the responsibility meter tick down, regardless of the arrow. Usually the arrow corresponds with the way the meter's going, but today it felt like switching it up, for whatever reason. If I were to let the game run for a few minutes on Ultra speed, we would see the responsibility meter be in quite far in the red. Thanks for your help, by the way! c:
