Hi! I'm having an issue that I think is relevant to this thread-- please point me in the right direction if I'm posting in the wrong place!
- I own all Expansion Packs, Game Packs, and Stuff Packs. I do NOT own the following kits: Modern Luxe Kit, Poolside Splash Kit, Grunge Revival Kit, Basement Treasures Kit, Bathroom Clutter Kit, Simtimates Collection Kit, First Fits Kit, Moonlight Chic Kit, Carnaval Streetwear Kit, Modern Menswear Kit, Fashion Street Kit
- I'd say about 80-90% of the time, my unsheltered in-season plants revert back to dirt piles when they are weeded, watered, or sprayed for bugs. This happens in all of my saves, and has been happening for a while.
- Yes I have used mods: MCCC, TOOL & Better Build/Buy, and UI Cheats.
- I have had bees, rabbits, and Patchy helping me in various saves-- this issue happens regardless of gardening help. When Patchy was tending my garden, it only happened when he watered my money tree.
- I do not have great soil lot trait; cannot remember if this issue has happened in saves/households where I did have that trait.
- I have this issue with all plants
- This issue seems to effect all plants
- I do not have any other gardening issues
- My season length is 14 days
Just my experience, take from it what you will. I noticed this happened a lot when using the "Great Soil" lot trait. Used to get this bug all the time when starting up Sims 4 and loading a save. Once I replaced "Great Soil" with something else, this bug stopped occurring 99% of the time. In the 1% off chance it does, [shift]+[clicking], change growth, does the trick.
I hear ya— unfortunately, it’s happening in households even without the “Great Soil” lot trait…I just wish it would get fixed because I often lose my harvestables when sims tend the plants before I have the chance to harvest ☹️
