[OPEN] Platform affecting roofs

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.154.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? just tiny living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? build a two story house with the 1st floor smaller then the ground floor and put a roof on the ground floor. the upstairs room has to have a platform in it for the bug to show
What happens when the bug occurs? the roof comes through the walls and into the room so i cant decorate the upstairs properly
What do you expect to see? no roof inside my house
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. the new platform update

    Same here. This is from November, but the bug is still in the game. Can anyone comment on whether this is being worked on?

    Hi!~ Idk if you have figured it out, but I had this issue myself. It caused the roof and issued with the above floor if it was lower floors. What you have to do is place the platform, then go to the story above it, there should be a yellow outline, like how the selectable stuff is, click that and you should get "Remove ceiling" and it wont remove the floor above, it will just remove the ceiling option for the platform. Hope this helps!!!

    It still does it as of June 2024... 

    The roof goes through whenever the platform is anywhere in the room. Plus, if you have any objects, windows or stairs near, the roof just deletes them. So, it's not only a visual bug in build mode, since it actually prevents my sim to access rooms.
