I'm having the same problem. It seems the loot payouts for the Paranormal pack are completely broken because the game generates an LE every time I finish a gig but end up stuck there. The LE points to a problem with loot, which is basically any rewards your Sims receive from doing different actions.

There is a separate (but I think related) bug that prevents my Sims from receiving their satisfaction points when living in a haunted house. I get an LE every day at 6am citing loot as the problem and my Sims never receive their satisfaction points.
