They released a new laundry list today, and unfortunately this annoying bug is not in it 😕
I'm convinced it's all just lip service and they don't give a you know what. It's sad to say to because I really, really value customer service and I enjoy the Sims. So it's just put into perspective for me how I need to wait 1+ year before purchasing new content so that hopefully there isn't bugs or the bugs were fixed. ☹️
And it's really frustrating because the Paranormal gigs WERE working properly before the last patch.
Anyway, if you're new to this topic, there's a workaround posted by TyttaMarzh some pages ago, it worked for me but not 100% of the time:

This kinda worked for me, I guess?! I don’t know if it really did cause I didn’t have to delete any object with the mod but after I’ve installed it for some reason my gigs got done and completed? I have absolutely no idea if there’s a correlation indeed or if it’s just a coincidence but maybe it’s worth trying cause the career seems to be working for me now!
