After I was sending his sister to do some homework, my boy went and did a running divebomb into the pool, in a blizzard.
Despite me teleporting him next to the fire immediately, he froze to death "whilst swimming" on our living room carpet.
Mum did a necrocall and got his ghost, was able t invite him back to the household but despite knowing the spell, dedethify is not showing up on his ghost...nor urn.
In fact, there is no option for magic on him at all!
@LisaLadybirD82 Ok. You get Necrocall by clicking on the urn or tombstone. You get to Dedeathify by clicking on the spellcaster then Magic and then Spells I think, not the ghost. It's been a while since I've used it so I'll check and get back to you if it is not that way. I've only used it 3 times before I ran into my problem several months ago. Since then, I haven't tried.
I know you can use it on a ghost that's been added to the household. Been there, done that, so that is not the issue. I found it easier that way since the resurrected sim doesn't run away before you can Dedeathify them.

@CGrant56 ..... ghost is in the household, spellcaster is top of her game and in the centre of that menu, you can see the ghost. So he's close 😞

@LisaLadybirD82 For some reason, I'm getting an error on the image viewer here so I can't see the picture you posted. So could you try either changing the format to a png or simply imbedding it into a post? I've been getting the same error for the last day or so. It's probably best to embed the image in a post if you can. I haven't tried to do that myself so I really can't tell you how. Sorry.
