8 years agofound a fix for this... if the roof is taller than the interior wall it will override the interior texture. set it to the exact height of the wall or lower to undo this, and instead of using the middle arrow to extend the roof you can use the little triangles in the corner

omg omg omg I loooove you so much for this!!! I've been playing for years and would just get so frustrated I'd just quit the build.
