Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? During winter, invite people over via a social event to the Von-Windenburg Estate lot and watch as people arrive via the bottom of the hill, rather than spawning right next to the house. By the time the sims get to your house, some die if there is a blizzard. Please note, this is not using the original Von Windenburg Estate house.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims freeze to death
What do you expect to see? Sims arriving and leaving the house closer by

I invited 15 sims over for a dinner party, for 'Christmas', at my recently created house on the Von Windenburg Estate lot. They all arrived hours late because they were all walking a winding path up to the house (see the two faint figures near the top of my screenshot as an example) in a blizzard. One teen sim died.
The front of the house is on the opposite side, and when my sims arrive home from school/work they spawn at the right location, unlike the visitors.
This is actually the second time a sim in my game has freezed to death. This is very annoying as both times they were relatives of my played sim family.

Yes, sims are still spawning ages away in the original lot in a new game.
I'm not seeing freezing, but the way spawning works for that lot is very frustrating. It's impossible to host a toddler play date at that lot because the toddlers will spawn across the island, which is way too far for them to walk.
@crinrictHi and thanks a lot for your reply 🙂 It's not only an issue for this one place. I also have this problem on the island in the bottom left in Windenburg. I will try to find the names of the lots, but my game isn't in English so it will take a moment

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All major ones except the Eco one. Also realm of magic, parenthood, City living, dine out, bowling, toddler stuff, vintage, kids room, spa.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Honesty, invite someone over to the house of the rich black hair chick from the Celebrity expansion. For me that's it. They just appear miles away from the house and take their sweet time to walk.
What happens when the bug occurs? People die on the way to my christmas parties. They spawn in front of a different house quite far, dressed for the party and take a 2 hour walk to my place. Some end up dead before they reach me, especially if they are famous and walk slow. Not exactly the way I expected to get that christmas spirit flying... To be honest, they simply spawn miles away from my houses, not just on parties. It's really irritating, they spend 3 hours of an event just walking to the place. Sometimes they stop midway and never reach it. It happens for sure in Windenberg and in the Fame City (sorry, no idea what the English name is and I don't care to check, I'm too angry the game I payed a really big amount of money for along the years is not working yet again (: )
What do you expect to see? It's funny how your example is a bug that I also have. But that's a minor. No one died from it yet. I expect sims to spawn in front of my place, the same way my characters spawn when they go back home. That's it.

It's really not that complicated of a bug on my side, sims just spawn super far from the desired location. Which I can live with. But not if they die before they reach my Christmas party </3
If you are a developer/tester reading this, thank you for your work and also my condolences, this job does not sound fun considering how buggy this game is. I love it. But we all know what is what.
