[OPEN] [S] Repetitively reacting to first snow

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? latest
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have any sim aged child to elder, have the first snow happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every sim will stop whatever tasks they're doing, even SHOWERING(!), and go outside to react to the snow. Even if I cancel it, the task will STILL override EVERYTHING I do until the sim has completed the react to first snow.
What do you expect to see? Sims not doing something so obnoxious as stopping everything just for some snow. Repeatedly and insistently, until I let them see the stupid snow to finally resume what they were doing before because nothing else works.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I AM TIRED of this. So completely and absolutely frustrated. I feel like this has gotten worse at some point too, because I used to be able to cancel the stupid action and have the sim resume what they were doing without going outside, and it didn't hit a whole household, just one or two sims. But I was just playing a family of eight and every single one of them stopped everything the moment it started snowing, one was even in the shower(!!!), just to do this stupid action that was unable to be cancelled. I'm ready to scream. This is just the latest in SO MANY different things that are just TOO MUCH, like the sniffing surroundings, and the devs never actually cut the thing back to be reasonable and not rage-inducingly annoying.

Edit: one of the sims was knitting and all her progress on the thing is gone and unable to be resumed.
