I am so bummed about this bug! I knew it would be easy to get them both to CEO but I had a little experiment going where I started them with randomised traits and made them do and eat the same things to see how drastic the difference was between their progress. 16 GAME DAYS ELAPSED and Summer Holiday (who lives across the street) invited my sim to her house and now suddenly the contract has been terminated/ someone is missing… I guess I’ll just complete it in my own time anyway, but it’ll be a lot less fun knowing I didn’t even complete the scenario properly. Lesson learnt: DONT LEAVE THE LOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. STAY AT HOME. PROTECT LIVES. 😂😂
I just wanted to add, in relevance to the title, that the couple don’t get divorced with travel, but the scenario completes as if they either did get divorced or as if the spouse is “missing, as if you either deleted or killed the spouse. After clicking the check mark on the “scenario complete” pop-up, I can keep playing with the couple and they’re still married.
