Me too. This is a no-mod (never modded) test save. It happens with both regular shoes and the spa slippers.

The shoes in the top pic did go away for a few seconds during the massage but they came back before it was finished. The slippers stayed on for the entire massage.

I can confirm this being a Vanilla issue.
