Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you have a sim who is Family Oriented and Single, one want will appear to find a significant other. Even if the sim is set to be both aromantic and asexual.
What happens when the bug occurs? Your sim gets a want that they should not have.
What do you expect to see? Sexuality not being overridden by traits.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Since Wants/Fears were added to the game.
I am having this exact problem! I made sure to make my sim aroace in the options but wants to get in a relationship keep showing up. I do have mods but none that impact wants -- given other people are/were experiencing this problem with their mods removed, I've elected to keep them in.
There needs to be a filtering process for wants based on sexual and romantic orientation.
