What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Spooky Stuff, Batuu, and some kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Approach a friendly sim and tell them to Hook Up With another sim outside of the household. If successful and they say they're going out, log in as that sim and check their relationships.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim has never even met the sim that they are supposedly dating.
What do you expect to see? Previously, the sims would get a romance bar and start dating. It was my main method of matching up NPCs because Neighborhood Stories didn't put sims into relationships, but this interaction did.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure it was working 2-3 months ago.
I’m playing on console and had this happen twice. I played one sim week with a household. During that week I had two phone calls about friend Sims going on dates and I recommended they go. Then I get a call back saying it went well. A few days later I went to play each of those households but neither had the person they went on the dates with in their relationship panel at all and I couldn’t ask to go out on a date with them either. The only thing that actually works with the phone call is to announce when babies are made from what I’m seeing.
The same is true for me!
