Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try having friends over for a dinner or even the entire family who lives on the lot. Everyone does something else even when calling for meals.
What happens when the bug occurs? They don't sit down and eat sometime they just stand in the kitchen and eat.
What do you expect to see? I expect the sims to sit at a table and eat their food, the problem is I think that they Socialize to much and it makes no difference where they are if another Sims is in the room they just go there and talk to that Sim. If sims sit at a table and eat then the rest of the sims should go there and eat as well. They just scatter all over the place.

I think the Sims 4 sitting issue doesn't have anything to do with Mods I don't have many and before I put the Mods in it was happening even when I play the Wedding Stories the Sims do not sit at the table only a few and then they get up and talk to other Sims sometimes the Sims are not even on the lot with the Wedding Event. I think the Socialization is over power everything the Sims do. Even in some activities socializing disrupts the activity or action they are being commanded to do. They even do this in Restaurants get up and talk to other Sims at random in the Restaurant and even stand while eating and talk to their friends who they are suppose to be sitting with. This is a problem like the Chef problem and finally Ea seems to have fix that one I had to download a Mod so I could use the Restaurants the Chefs were standing outside the Restaurant not going in.
