This is still happening. They literally never sit down to eat. Never, under any circumstances. If I command them to sit, they finish eating first and then sit down. Or they put their food on the floor and then sit.
Still happening... sitting in dining room chair has been queued up for like 20 sim minutes
This problem has definitely got much worse recently. Sims are even ignoring table settings, that's usually the best way to get them to sit at the table. They are mostly all just standing around eating instead. I'm also noticing that when they do this if I click on a seat they finish their food and then sit down instead of following my instructions immediately and finishing their meal at the table. It's definitely worse when getting leftovers from the fridge. If I use Call to Meal there's more chance they'll sit at a table.
