[OPEN] [SNK] Small trash cans don't snap to changing table

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every Time
What is your current game version number? 
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to slot a trash can to the new Storybook changing table
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no slot for a trash can. 
What do you expect to see? I expected to see a slot for trash cans like the other changing tables that came with Growing Together. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not anymore. I've removed all of them. 
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No. This is a new object in the game.

The changing tables that came with Growing Together snapped together with small trash cans so that when the infant is changed, the diaper immediately goes into the trash can. However, this changing table doesn't work the same way. 

Glitch or by design?

It has to be a bug. It seems weird that they would remove that functionality on purpose.
