@MissConsuella - I am just supporting your report here. I'm still wondering if there is a fix to come for this. I have five child sims, 1 of which did complete the three new friends during the final milestone, but the other children cannot, even though they have met and befriended (to good friends) several other child sims during more than one sim week.

    Hello,

    I'm running the latest version of The Sims 4 without mods.

    I figured out why this bug is happening - when you befriend a child and the relationship is better than Friends (for example Good Friends or Best Friends), it does not count.

    If the relationship is dropped to Friends - the counter increases.

    You have to be exactly Friends with the child and not have a better relationship with them.

    I'd be happy to sent save files for this situation to the EA team if contacted.
