[OPEN] Socialize with your child 10 Times Not Working!

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63136.1010
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I tried to talk to child, ask about day, inside joke. When I try to any type of socialization, the aspiration still says 0/10.
What happens when the bug occurs? The "socialize with your child" aspiration will not complete.
What do you expect to see? When I chat with chil, ask about day, etc., the socialize with child aspiration still says 0/10.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Hi,

My sim has the aspiration "Big Happy Family".  In level 2: Caregiver you have to read to a child for 2 hours and Socialize with your child 10 times. My sim is best friends with both of his twin children, but after each social interaction like ask about day, ask about school, get to know, etc., the aspiration still says 0/10. I have also noticed, that I am not given the option to read a story to his children either. My sim was able to read to his twin children when they were toddlers. My sim's wife is an alien and the kids are half alien born with green skin. Does that make a difference? How do I fix this?

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Please see the code below, copied from the LastException file.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Socializing 10x does not work ! It wokrs for some Sims but not for my Sim. It uploads a lastException file everytime into the Sims ç folder under Documents.
    What do you expect to see? My Sim progressing in her aspiration when she socialises with her Child.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Outdoor Retreat, Luxury Party Stuff
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know how to fix the bug
    What happens when the bug occurs? Sims aspirations aren't completing. Currently playing with a sim with the Successful lineage aspiration and no matter how many times he socialises with his child it's not counting towards his milestones. Also not counting when he reads to his child.
    What do you expect to see? Milestones being achieved / counted towards when sim socialises with his child, and reads to his child.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    @louisetrottet According to the LE there's am issue with a double bed and sleeping.

    Would you mind sending me your save ? Instructions in my signature. Don't know if the LE is related

    Merged your post with the bug report on the socializing not working though

    @atuwarhawk Then that's all for the moment. Don't think there's a known workaround and it's up to EA to fix it.
