[OPEN] Stuff on Desks under Top Bunk disappear

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.131.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Eco Lifestyle, Discover University Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Tiny Living, My First Pet Stugg, Toddler Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Kids Room, Romanti Garden, Holiday Celebration
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place "Metal Framed Top Bunk" bed and any desk underneath, then any addition to the desk, for example a chair, book and stereo. Travel anywhere and back, and anything added to the desk, exept the desk, is gone into the family inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? Anything added to the desk disappears into the family inventory.
What do you expect to see? Stuff should still be on desk.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Started playing with a teenager for the new update, placed a table under the top bunk, as it's now supposed to work. Desk snaps under Bed, anything else snaps to desk. My sim travels somewhere, we come back and everything attatched to the desk is missing. Found it in the family inventory after a while. That included the chair, stereo and a book.

    @crinrict yes still happening as of today (12 April 2023) - with also the growing together bunkbed and desk and chair :/

    Same! It’s very annoying and confusing. I’ve placed everything back numerous times and it keeps disappearing, but only on the desk for one of the two beds! They’re both the same type of bed (the one with the triangles at the headboard and the other end), just different swatches. They have the same laptop on both desks (the tablet from the pastel pop kit), but different chairs and decor, and it all. Just. Keeps. Disappearing!!! I’m so frustrated!

    I have the same one-desk thing going on but I haven’t been having the issue with the modular cubes. Do you know if the modular cube bug has been fixed by a patch since you posted this?

    I swear EA probably has the most incompetent developers out there. It’s May 2023 and this is still an ongoing issue.

    All the items on the desk below a bunk bed disappear every time I load into the lot.


    Also, every time I load the lot there is always a warning-message saying that some CC items were removed because they no longer exist, which is not true. I haven’t removed any CC. It appears even when playing without CC…

    This game is turning into a joke.

    I've been experiencing this glitch with the dream home decorator furniture, specifically the kids bunk beds with desks underneath, pulled as a combo straight out of the menu in build mode. When I reload my game, ready to play again, the chair and everything on the desk disappears and is moved into the household inventory. Also happens when I go to manage worlds. And, when I'm playing in a different household, I can't fix it. I've tried everything, and there's nothing in the way of the desk, moving it didn't work, and I have the same issue with a different version of the desk-bed combo from the pack. Not the end of the world, but incredibly annoying.
