Trend Setter is one of the tutorial aspirations. You should probably change aspirations if you aren't playing the tutorial.
If you are still playing the tutorial, it might be time to consider ending it. There should be a command to do that on the Options menu. The tutorial wasn't designed to have anyone in the household except your original sim and Alex Moyer. I know it's possible to have children during the tutorial but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.
There is no Creative aspiration unless you got it from a mod. The Artistic Prodigy children's aspiration only requires you to play musical instruments for 5 total hours and have level 10 Creativity skill. The musical instruments for children include the violin but there's no requirement to have Violin skill.
@Sketch793 Isn't creative aspiration just the general term for all creative aspirations ? The kid might not be an actual kid anymore.
I don't see one that needs violin skill specifically though so you might be right about the mod part
The trendsetter is also a branch of the stylist career which is known to be broken for skills.

Yes, looking back at the original post, she's probably referring to the career requirements for Trend Setter. I missed that and it probably throws off everything else I said. Sorry for the mistake.

Yep - the career requirements for the Trendsetter career. Since i posted this, she advanced in her career even though the panel said she did not do what she was supposed to do, and the son (who is still a kid - aging is turned off for now) got his Creativity Aspiration completed. So I think it's just that the panels are not updating for some reason.
