I still hope that ea-maxis fixes this bug so eventually I can get back to simming. I haven't touched my game in months but I keep playing other games (right now I'm a gamer and not a simmer).
EA-Maxis you have achieved the impossible: for years I just played Sims in my PC (since Sims 2). On May 2023 I bought a Nintendo Switch. All the joy that you gave me with the Sims series, now Nintendo gives it to me with ACNH and Zelda.
Sims series are unique so I do not understand why you EA-Maxis do not value it and settle for mediocrity. Bugs that are not fixed after years, packs launched untested and unfinished. Where is your pride? We simmers deserve better, your devs deserve better.
Well, take care everyone. Thanks for all the simmers who support this thread.

Yep, I just came across this glitch because I just unlocked it for my Sim.
I noticed that it actually works for Sims you're not playing with, but doesn't work for Sims you are playing with. For example, Caleb Vatore, the Master Vampire with the brown hair and red suit, liked to visit my Sim a LOT when I made him a vampire and moved him into Forgotten Hollow. Used to shoo him away but one time I let him in and now they're in a relationship so I moved him in to my Sim's house. Before I moved him in, I would literally see him zoom past my Sims in the neighborhood all the time (and I knew it was him because I'm pretty sure him and his sister, Lilith are the only characters that has it enabled automatically in the pack, and I hardly see Lilith) but now that he lives with my Sim he only does it in the house.
I have two other vampire households, so I'm going to test this, but I'm pretty sure it works if you're NOT playing with their household, which is annoying because it's really only convenient when you ARE playing with their household. Otherwise it's just "oop- Caleb just zoomed by me"

Really? Huh, my Sims are sad quite often because a lot of them have the Gloomy trait so I'll have to see if it does the same for me.
