Hello EA, I´m back: I have waited 1 year 9 months for this bug to be fixed.
I've lost all hope: how could you possibly fix this bug if you are unable to prevent devastating bugs in your free patches and newly released packs?
I haven't played in over a year, always waiting for this bug to be fixed or for a pack to get me excited enough to ignore that my vampires and werewolves are broken.
Lovestruck seemed like that pack (greetings from Mexico City). A couple of years ago I would have happily bought it. But now the game is more broken than when I stopped playing.
YES, I haven't played for over a year, nor have I purchased anything from EA Games, a company I can no longer trust.
I'll be back, maybe EA will fix this bug and stabilize the game. Then I'll be able to play what I already paid for since the day the Sims 4 were released.
If you're on PC, I made a fix. Could you tell me if it works or not?
I tried the variant called RunOnlyFix and it works perfectly well! With the vampiric speed toggled on, my vampire runs for the long distances and walks normally for the short ones!
So somebody was able to fix the issue but we are still waiting for the official fix. Hopefully it will get to laundry list finally...
Understandable, though, the fix was really easy to make(literally just had to make a single change to the hidden super-speed buff). Whenever I see simple stuff like this not fixed after extended periods of time, it really makes me lose hope in them ever fixing bugs like this and just leaving it to modders. Really sucks, especially for console users...
Side Note: Speaking of modders fixing bugs, I noticed LittleMsSam just made the same fix for the problem. Funny timing lol.
