I had something similar happen and was able to fix it. One of my Apex sims did Lunar Howl to change his temperaments, then seemed to get stuck in infinite rampage and unable to transform back. First, with cheats enabled, I was able to fix the infinite rage by Shift+clicking and selecting "Cheat Need>Make Happy", which evidently resets both all needs to 100% AND Fury to 0 with werewolves. That took him out of rampage mode. But he was still stuck unable to shift back. I found that with cas.fulleditmode on, if I forced him into CAS edit using the Shift+click cheat menu, then when I closed out of CAS he was still in his beast form, but the "Return To Normal" option had reappeared and I was able to have him shift back to human.
I hope this is replicable and helpful for anyone else having this issue! Hopefully it's just an early post-release bug that gets fixed soon.
@katamhThanks so much for these instructions. Had a sim werewolf daughter go off to college and when she came home the parents were in full rage form but acting normal with no option to transform back. Taking their rage down with somber howl, then going into cas full edit mode and coming back out gave them their transformation ability back. I was wondering why so many townies just never returned to human form but were friendly in their rage form.
I'm guessing it's not widely reported because not a lot of folks are playing with a rotational werewolf family yet.
