Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I had two sims in my household, Sim A was a newly werewolf occult sim which I played through the first transformation with. Sim B in the household was basic human sim. I performed the action on Sim B to make them a werewolf and then continued to play with Sim A while visiting a community lot. Sim B was not in my control as they were at the residential lot. By the time Sim A came home Sim B had potentially gone through the first transition although it is behaving as if they had not transformed at all yet. Which resulted in in an in infinite rampage mode and Sim B would not transform into a werewolf at all. Later used Sim A to initiate a battle with Sim B and this forced Sim B to transform into a werewolf. But it still doesn't recognize that Sim B has transformed yet at all. Now stuck in infinitely as a werewolf and in rampage mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? Infinite rampage mode, infinite werewolf. Limited control over sim cannot change between werewolf and human forms.
What do you expect to see? Rampage mode should go away eventually. Sim should not be stuck infinitely in occult form.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Can confirm that this bug still happens. Happened when I used "try to regain control", Sim turned back and the rampaging moodlet went away but still retained maximum fury and fury effects and walkstyles.

I hadn't played my Werewolf Household for a while. When I came back to work with them, they all (two adults and their teen daughter) were in their wolf form. All of them have the Transformation Mastery Ability but when I click on them, not one of them has the option in their menu to revert back to their human form. The Sims didn't come from the Gallery, so that's not the issue. One I made myself from scratch, and she married the bartender from Moonwood Mill, Celene Lopez. The third is their biological daughter. I don't think I've worked with them at all since shortly before Growing Together released so I have no clue when this issue took hold of them. I have over 20 households I jump between, so I don't always keep close tabs on any one family.

Edit: I restarted my game (partly for a different reason anyway) and when I came back, the "Return to Normal" option did reappear, but I think anyone would agree it shouldn't happen at all in the first place. While it did temporarily solve the problem, I'd say it's no more "fixed" than an aspirin would fix a broken leg. Still an issue worth investigation by the patch -making people as far as I'm concerned. Luck doesn't patch a bug.

  • This is such an annoying glitch and I hope it gets solved soon! It’s so weird to see werewolves randomly rampaging on the streets, but I don’t want to just lock them all to Moonwood Mill

  • 2024 and I’m having this issue as well. Can’t figure out a way around it. No mods

@halloweenchild13 I'll try... I have a CAS made werewolf whose rage won't go down and DOESN'T HAVE THE OPTION to turn back, and twin boys who are in the bear phase. One has the option to change into bear, the other does not.
