It's definitely not the case for everyone since not everyone experiencing the werewolf glitches uses mods, but if you're having issues related to werewolf CAS AND you're using mods, check your mods that modify CAS, specifically any that unlock hidden categories for occult sims.
for me the reason that I was getting the glitch that made it impossible for me to modify a sim's outfit after switching them to werewolf form was because of the Crilender's CAS unlocks mod. I updated it and now the issue is gone.
@TsundereKitsune This is not mod related. It is a bit hit and miss at time but I've been able to replicate on a vanilla game a few times.

@crinrictI understand that its not the issue for everyone, I just felt like mentioning it in case anyone with mods had the problem, since in that specific case the issue can be solved and there's a chance that they're not experiencing the 'real' base-game glitch, just an incompatibility issue that causes a similar problem.

@TsundereKitsune It's fine to point it out that it can also be mods but it sounded like you suggested it was only mod related which it is not :D
Maybe you could edit your post to say: this can ALSO be mod-related, guess that would make it clearer what you meant.
Thank you

@crinrictah- what I meant was 'this isn't the fix for every instance of the glitch, since this one particular cause is mod related,' not that the glitch itself is always due to mods. hopefully my edit makes that clearer.
For someone who is experiencing the bug NOT due to a mod error though- If they are open to trying a CAS unlocking mod I wonder if that could be a temporary fix? I couldn't say since I never experienced the glitch myself when I turn off mods entirely.
