It sounds like you have a corrupt save somewhere. The same thing happened to me with options dissapearing mine was the romantic options though. I bet it's one of your houses or families. The exact same thing was happening to me. Do you want me to make a video showing how to find and fix it? It's hard to explain without showing you what I mean.
