Parenting predicaments: No Option to talk about school

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, All game packs, Zero Stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Parental predicaments:Scenario - Play as a parent and click on child. Talk to (Insert Child name) about school. No option for "talk to about school" under Friendly actions.
What happens when the bug occurs? Parental predicaments:Scenario - Talk to (Insert Child name) about school. It is supposed to be found under "Friendly" but I can never get it to pop up even after searching all the options. Turning off mods and more..
What do you expect to see? It should give me an option while clicked on a parent to talk to their child about school.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Parental predicaments:Scenario- Talk to (child name) about school, option unavailable.

Parental predicaments:Scenario - "Talk to (John Doe) about school" is the last action I need to take.

Any time I play as a parent and click on either of the two children, there is no option to ask about school. I see ask about day, help with homework. But nothing about asking how school went. I've closed the game, updated the game, gave it a couple of weeks. And still nothing.

I did turn off all my cc mods to see if that would fix it and nothing has worked.

Action:

Play as a parent and click on child.
Talk to (Insert Child name) about school.
No option for "talk to about school" under Friendly actions.
