[PARTLY FIXED] [CL] Sims return early from school/work

    Hey everyone! Check your game. This bug is included among the fixed bugs in today's patch (December 1st) :

    City Living

    • Entering Build Mode on an apartment lot while your Sim is at work or school, will no longer force your Sim home early.

I know there was an issue with  Sims returning home early if you used build/buy mode in a City Living apartment that was resolved with a patch, however, I still have a problem with Sims returning from work early if:

1) I enter Create a Sim with another Sim who is at home.  

     OR

2) when I save and quit a game file while a Sim is at work or school, when I open the game file, the Sim(s) returns home early.

I think I always have the second happen, regardless of where my Sims are located, but the most recent occurrence did take place in a San Myshuno apartment (930 Medina Studios) and it brought a Sim home early from work.  I don't have any mods or custom content.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Willing to share your save game ?

If so, please zip up this folder: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\saves and drop the file to this Mediafire-Link to upload.

Please make sure to name the zip file with your user name.

    Thanks very much for taking the time to respond and for merging; I did see this thread but thought because it says 'solved' that perhaps it was a different issue.  🙂

    I would be happy to share, however, I have a lot of save files so it might be a bit much to share all of them.  I did zip the folder (the zipped folder is 2.5Gigs), but it didn't make it much smaller then the original folder size.  I also don't know how to tell one save file from another in the Sims game files as my file names don't show up there so I can't even give you the one I had the problem with recently, though I do think I have this problem in more than one save file.  Would you still like me to share?  Or perhaps you could help me figure out a way to share a smaller portion of my save files.  Our internet isn't that fast (I'm rural), so I don't want to upload the whole thing unless you think you can use it even though it is so big.

      The easiest thing to do is go into the game, save your faulty save, then exit the game and sort your saves by date.

      The one with the newest date (NOT slot_00000001.save and without ver as extension) is your save.

      Zip and upload just that

        I think I have the problem in other files, however, I've saved and uploaded the one I've seen it most recently in to the link you provided above; I did make sure to include my Origin name on the zip folder.  I realized that I just had to match the date and time on the save file in Sims to the date in the 'Save' folder to be able to locate the game file.
