Good question. I'll start a new save - one where I don't care much about any of my rotationally played Sims! - and find out. So far everybody posting on the official forums is playing an older save.
I can check the jobs of my other played households in my game as well. I started a new save file after the patch, so hopefully the new save files don't have this same bug. Hopefully.
