Possible bug - completed space rock collection & didn't receive the orchid

Subject line says it all. The collections shows as complete. I keep flying space missions to collect all the rocks again & find any 'stories' I may have missed but I think I've flown all missions & varied my responses. Guidance is appreciated if this is not a bug. Thx

    Nothing says completed Space Rock collection like an Orchid! Aren’t space rocks and orchids practically synonyms for one another?
    • “Hey mom, did you see this cool orchid I got from space camp?”
    • “The bouquet of space rocks you gave me for mother’s day are beautiful sweetie.”
    • …see?
    • Fine, we changed this. Now, you get a plaque. A commemorative plaque… are you happy? Space Rock Commemorative Plaque… it hurts just to say it.

    No posts in a while, now this patch notes. This is fixed

    How long has it been since you completed the rock collection and have not received the orchid.

    For me, I had to wait 2-3 in game days to receive the orchid. It did NOT show up the next game day in the mail, it showed up in the mail (just moments ago actually) only when the next set of bills were delivered.

    Bills don't seem to be delivered on Monday morning at a consistent time any more. (Like 9am every Monday for example, like in Sims 3 where they seemed to always arrive at the same time along with mail man or paper delivery.)

    I just received it on a Tuesday at approximately 1pm. 

    So if you finished the collection on a Wednesday in game you could have a rather long play time waiting for the orchid in the mail (especially if you have a lot of sims in the household, as I have noticed juggling just two in game exponentially increases play time to days passing hah).

    I don't know if it bills not arriving at a consistent time is a bug or is already logged; and I don't know if mail coming the next day or just once a week is a bug. I honestly cannot recall if on some of the collection plaques if I got them the next day or not. The four plaques I have were so long ago I just don't know, and I did not get any award for finishing fishing that I recall right now, but I'm half asleep.

    I'm having this issue. Have received the plaque.
    Also, each time I receive mail even before the collection was complete it never tells me what was in the mail, just that it was all collected by my sim.
    I've also spliced the plants in order to get the orchid because it is not in my inventory or mail.
    But when I harvested it wasn't in my inventory even though it said and still says the plant now has orchid on it...
    my police officer is also in a loop where the suspect has never turned up for days on end and it's still in a loop.
    So is this just normal gameplay that it takes a really long time and the first harvest doesn't give 1 of the three harvestables but it will the second time or do I have to uninstall the game like I did with sims 3 to get it to work again

    Are you using any mods/cc in your game ?


    Is your game fully updated ?
