Potions, Ambrosia, other placed in house disappearing on rotational play

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC, Steam
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Unsure, Inconsistent
What is your current game version number? 1.105.345.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion, game, and stuff packs. All kits except Modern Menswear.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place crafted items (spellcaster potions, ambrosia) on a shelf or the floor. Make a different household active, then visit the first household after some time in game, with the potions etc on the floor/shelves. All of the items will be removed, and will also be completely gone when the first household is made active again.
What happens when the bug occurs? Random crafted items such as spellcaster potions and ambrosia disappear when visited with a different household.
What do you expect to see? All items should remain in the house when visited during rotational play, and should still be there when returned to as the active household.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Crystal Creations SP

I made a new save with the Crystal Creations pack. Two of the adult children of the sims I started the new save with needed to move out (to get married, have their own kids, etc), so I split the household and moved them out, and played them for ~1.5-2 game weeks before visiting the parents house with one of the Sims that moved out to get a potion; I had left a bunch scattered all over the house on tables, the floor, and shelves. This house also had a ton of copypasto'd ambrosia, on the floor of a secret basement room, sitting on a sales table, and on a shelf. There was also a mess of homework, books, dirty dishes, jewelry, an excessive number of gem gnomes, metals, and probably other things I've forgotten scattered around this house. (Yes, it was a terrible mess in there.)
On knocking on the door, all of the potions, ambrosia, and homework were deleted from the lot. Unfortunately, whatever gremlins cleaned the place up left the dirty dishes. Luckily, all of the jewelry, metals, and cut gemstones (and gemstone gnomes!) were untouched. Only one crystal (uncut) was missing (Jonquilyst, from a display with the other rare crystals).

On returning to the initial (gen1) household (after a few more game days), all Sim inventories and the household inventory were intact. Only the mentioned placed items were deleted from the lot.

The inconsistency: I made a third household and traveled immediately back to the second, which also has potions etc strewn across the floor. The house was loaded intact, and remained so after knocking on the door, with all strewn items untouched.
On returning to the first household as active, I again immediately visited the second household, and all items were still present as expected.
It appears that some amount of game time needs to pass, possibly a whole week or more, for the issue to occur between changing active household and visiting another played house. Due to this required time, and my restore saves not going back far enough (oops, I was kinda tired when it happened, and kept playing), I do not think I can try to reproduce this bug.
