[PS] L1 & R1 not working

Maybe click in and out of build mode and go back and forth from manage worlds to playing a household. That’s basically all I was doing and after awhile the buttons randomly changed.What happens when the bug occurs?: L1 and R1 become useless for everything. You can’t rotate in build mode, speed up or pause the game, or change outfit themes in CASWhat do you expect to see?: L1 and R1 to rotate items in build mode, speed up or pause game in play mode, and/or change outfit themes in CASHave you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?: Unavailable for console; so noDid this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: Yes, after the latest update on February 7, 2023Please describe the patch or change you made.: I updated my gameUsually L1 and R1 are the buttons used to rotate objects in build mode, but they are no longer working for that purpose. Even the descriptions for the buttons in the controls reminder, that pops up when you press down on the left control stick (L3), have changed. L1 now says “previous” and R1 says “next”. None of the other buttons have changed, so there are no buttons to rotate items in build mode.

@EA_Solaire I have this problem too.Every time I try to use L1/R1 in build mode nothing happens haven't been able to rotate items for weeks. In live mode it's every other time I can't change game speed.

I just clicked out of build mode and the L1 and R1 buttons are still “previous” and “next”. So now there are no buttons to pause, play, or speed up the game as well.

I did end up restarting my PS4 and going back into the game and it did resolve itself, but after going in and out of build mode it eventually went back to L1 and R1 not working for rotating objects and/or speeding up the game. Also they didn’t work for changing the outfit theme in CAS. So basically, the longer I play my game L1 and R1 become useless.

L1 &amp; R1 are still used to change the game speed and pause in Live Mode and to rotate objects in Build/Buy mode. Are these buttons not responding when you press them in Build/Buy mode?

What happens in Live Mode when you press L1 &amp; R1?
