[PS/XB] Can't type in cheat box

Hi there @Ioananananana,

Does the text and number box never appear for you when you open the cheat box? Are you using mouse and keyboard, or a controller? 

yes, i can see the textbox pop up and i’m using a ps4 controller, i can type but it won’t show up in the textbox at the top of the screen and the commands don’t work

Hi. I’ve installed Sims 4, but cheats won’t really work. I can bring up the box just fine, but when I type anything into the Xbox keyboard and press “enter”, it fails to show up in the actual cheat box, so I can’t actually use anything. (Xbox One)

currently seeing if reinstalling will help. If anybody else has any fixes would love to hear!

It never appears i dont know why and i am using a controller

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?: high school, cottage living, paranormal stuff, tiny living.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: when I try and type into the cheat box, nothing is actually typed in. For example, I will press all for triggers and the cheat box will pop up. And the PlayStation texts enter box pops up, and I enter testing cheats true and I press done and nothing goes into the cheat box. When I type into the build mode search bar, it works fine, but when I try to type in to the cheat box text box, it doesn’t work. 
What happens when the bug occurs?: What I just described above. No text going into the cheat text box, even after entered on the PlayStation text box.
What do you expect to see?: I expect to see things typed into the cheat box and being able to use the cheats. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?: No, you can’t with console. 
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: I’m not sure I only just tried it after this newest update. 
Please describe the patch or change you made.: not applicable.

I don't have any issues with the cheat codes not until I opened the app again for almost a month of not playing it and the cheat codes is not working, and until now. Can you please help us?
