[PS/XB] Console Build mode tools no longer working

Yeah but then they'll probably just change the controls again and think that solves the issue...

@BobbieJMorris have you tried using the Y button on the items as well? I usually use that rather than the eyedropper.

Your game version number should be 1.88.3.2310 and can be found in Manage Game and Add-ons with using the button with 3 lines in a circle. So I'd just first check that's there so you know that your game has the correct updates installed.

Then if the Y button is not copying items either I would power cycle your console.

• Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
• Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
  Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
• Plug the console power cable back in.
• Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on. 

If that doesn't help I would do a reinstall of your game content from Manage Game and Add-ons by unchecking the boxes next to your game and packs then hitting Save Changes and then installing them again. That can sometimes get a function working again. It's a little time consuming unfortunately but I find it helpful.

But either way let us know how that goes and if nothing helps there may be an issue.

I'm also on Xbox Series X with the crystal pack. I've just tested it in my game and it's working.

Yes it is still a problem,, it wont load.. 

I part solves it. By loading another game. When that was loaded. I closed it again. And now i could load the other save game that was a problem before.. Now it loads... But after 5 min in build mode. I paused the game. Now i cant get it out of pause again.. And when closed, same loading problem again
