Hello, I'm playing the backwards compatibility version of the sims 4 on my PS5 and I've been consistently getting frame drops. This isn't just a dip in the frames every now and again. The game bugs out hard and the frames drop for long periods of time untill I restart the game. This issue happened to me on the base PS4 as well but I just assumed it was probably older hardware problems. Yesterday I had to restart my game multiple times because of the this infinite loop of frame drops, and it drops well below 30 fps. It feels similar to around 15 fps. I don't usually play with multiple sims either, I usually play only 2-3 at most and I don't place a ton of objects either.

@m45r2d i deleted all my last gen saves and started fresh then frame rate lag happened. Turned off all weather effects, still lagging. I went to options, then "other" and turned off online social features, in game surveys, share usage data, as well as changing sims delivery to "only on start up". It appears to have helped and I've been getting much more stable frame rate. I was even able to turn back on weather effects with no change.
