Randomize from gallery always gives same Sim

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.88.213.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get to Work, My Wedding Stories, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Outdoor Retreat, Paranormal, Tiny Living, My First Pet, Vintage Glamour, Romantic Garden, Spooky, Luxury Party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? CAS -> randomize a sim from the gallery
What happens when the bug occurs? The same sim keeps appearing no matter how many times I click on the randomize button.
What do you expect to see? Random sims from the gallery.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

My gallery works just fine, I really don’t understand what the issue is.

    @crinrict 

    That’s mega weird. I really hope EA fixes this, I miss being able to see other people’s creations within one click. ☹️

    @FaShanable Interesting enough it's working for me now again.

    Have you tried renaming the user folder yet ?

    I have, yes. Unfortunately that didn’t work either, and I now fear I will be stuck with Wilbur Wellwhisp forever.

    @FaShanable Maybe it'll start working again. It might be best if you create a new bug report in the bug forum for this. I'll then merge the rest of this thread into this.

    There's a template you need to fill out which is why I can't just move.

    @FaShanable I have to be same issue, sort of. I get the same six “random” sims. I could even choose one and the same will still be an option next time I choose randomize from gallery.
