Re: [ARCHIVED] Aspirations not fulfilling

I am supposed to catch 20 different sorts of fishes within this achievement. I have caught 18 different types but my count is still on 16. I noticed that when I caught fish that came with city life expansion does not count here (have two of those).
My game that is malfunktioning or actual problem?

    None of the non-base game ones count.


    I'm not sure if it's a bug but I've adjusted the text on the first page

     Hello! just wanted to let you know, I too am having issues with the fishing aspiration not counting all fish.

    Patches are to date.
    Family Aspirations Glitch?
    First step of the Base Game family aspirations says:
    Become an adult
    [b]Spend §1000 on kids' stuff[/b]

    Until very recently if the household already [i]owned [/i]  §1000 of kids' stuff on the lot this goal counted.
    In two different saves now the required amount was already on the lot. The goal did not count until my Sim bought the items again.
    In at least one if those saves a YA was asked to Move In.
    There is already just over §1000 of kids' stuff on the lot.
    I had to go into buy mode, delete the existing items and replace them before the goal would complete.

    @EuphorialQueen Does this just happen for "Successful Lineage" or does it also impact "super parent" and "Big happy family"? Did the sim in question have the aspiration before they were moved in?

    This applied to all three "Successful Lineage", "Super Parent" & "Big happy family".

    It did not trigger for the founder Sim, their partner  and their child when they became a Teen.

    I just refreshed my Sims 4 folder to continue another save. I will test in a new save soon.

    Thank you @EuphorialQueen for the info. We are aware of an issue with items in the inventory being ignored for these types of goals. Were the items on the Lot or in an inventory?
